Professional development encompasses the concept of a life long process of learning and development, which starts with the basic skills, knowledge and understanding that an individual requires to successfully perform their first job. This process continues throughout their career as the individual progresses to new levels of responsibility. The Microfinance Association is committed to this approach.

We are involved in an ongoing process of developing our Professional Development Programme. We are also currently developing our strategic management course on microfinance with a leading Business school in the UK. This would be a one week residential training course for senior practitioners within the industry.
