Mrs Ommara Raza Ali – Director – Asia

Areas of Expertise:

• Market Research: led more than 67 diversified research projects which include research projects on savings products and services for microfinance clients, micro lending products, rural microfinance, remittances, branchless banking, credit scoring model, customer insight, customer care/ service quality, impact assessment, pilot evaluation studies, business climate, exit clients and area research (branch feasibility and operational planning). Also lead multiple projects in other countries as well which include working on research projects with FINCA Jordan, FINCA Afghanistan and Women’s Trust Zimbabwe. Market research for enterprise loan product development, data collection and data management process of government scheme, assess overdue cases of non-qualifying asset portfolio of an MFI

• Product Development: Developed enterprise lending product including specialized products for women, worked on education finance product for low cost private schools, agriculture product, livestock product, savings products for low income households with special focus on women, specialized value chain financing products for women, personal loan product, car/motorbike loan product and home financing product. Engaged in evaluation and designing of Islamic Microfinance Product Kashf Murabaha.

Mrs Ololade Adesola

Ms Ololade Adesola is the Country Manager for Ololade Adesola (MSc, FMA, MNIM) is the founder and pioneer Managing Consultant of L.A. Consult Limited. A firm that specializes in providing bespoke and effective Financing, Business Transformation, Strategic Positioning and Executive Training Solutions to Clients. L.A. Consult is also the Country Representative of the UK Microfinance Association in Nigeria. Before establishing LA Consult, Ololade worked in Banking; growing and profitably managing Assets well over US $150m and winning Performance Awards in virtually every aspect of Banking, Management and Leadership. Ololade holds a Master of Science in Banking and Finance.

Mr Godfrey Crentsil

Godfrey Crentsil – is the Executive Director of the Financial Inclusion Advocacy Centre (UK AND GHANA). Godfrey has extensive experience in deposit mobilisation and curriculum development. Godfrey is also an experienced facilitator and organiser. He was the facilitator for the recent Financial Inclusion Summit in Ghana that was attended by a number of international investors and participants from West Africa. The Microfinance Association work in collaboration with the Financial Inclusion Advocacy Centre.

Mr Ademola

Mr Ademola has a master’s Degree in Business Administration in International Finance and Economic Development from the University of Stirling, Scotland. Ademola has considerable experience in: Credit and Micro Finance Operations and Management, Mobilization of savings for deposits, Training and curriculum development, Capacity building for Organizations involved in Microfinance. Ademola has good management skills and has a strategic approach on microfinance development issues. He has considerable experience in capacity building and the development of micro credit institutions.

Sara Hsu

Sara Hsu is an economics consultant and was formerly an Associate Professor of Economics at the State University of New York at New Paltz. She has written several books and numerous journal articles on the topics of economic development, financial crises, and Chinese finance. She frequently appears on CGTN, Cheddar, and i24 news, and has written for Forbes and The Diplomat. Dr. Hsu holds a PhD from the University of Utah and a BA from Wellesley College.
